Coworking Out Loud 021 – Ashley Proctor on Our Collective Power and Her Punk Rock Roots

This week I spoke with Ashley Proctor from Creative Blueprint, COHIP (the Coworking Health Insurance Plan), and GCUC Canada.
Ashley is one of the pioneers and champions of the coworking movement. She’s been building community for decades, was coworking before we called it coworking, and is a longtime advocate for accessible spaces, inclusion, diversity and the power of collaboration.
Ashley and I have been friends for years and she is absolutely unwavering in her commitment to improving lives—through coworking and beyond. Whether she’s working on a street-level project or presenting her ideas to the Canadian government, she is thoughtful, intentional and visionary.
Ashley and I chatted about her early work as a community builder, our collective power to create change, and her punk rock soul.
