A few weeks ago I wrote about the importance of a coworking community when things are going shit. I had no idea when I wrote it how shit things could go, but here we are.
A rough workday seems like a walk in the park compared to the sleepless nights and waves of collective anxiety we’re currently trying to navigate, but one thing has been made painfully clear: In our homes, our towns, our schools, our work, our neighborhoods, our countries, our planet and our coworking spaces, we need each other.
We need each other to lean on when it all seems to much
We need each other to remind us that we’re not alone
We need each other to share our fears
We need each other to celebrate our differences
We need each other to create strong, diverse communities
We need each other to bridge culture, gender, race, religion, sexuality and other divides
We need each other to stay focused on creating a better world
We need each other to speak out against bigotry, bullying and violence
We need each other to inspire a new perspective
We need each other to stand for peace
We need each other to lend a hand and heart during hard times
We need each other to say no to hate
We need each other to say yes to love, connection, collaboration, community
We need each other to keep our hearts open when it feels easier to succumb to despair
We need each other to keep generosity flowing
We need each other to learn compassion and empathy
We need each other when the challenges are overwhelming
We need each other to remind us to take care of ourselves
We need each other to reflect the beauty of life
We need each other to create a global culture rooted in love, justice and mutual respect
We need each other to cherish life’s simple pleasures
We need each other to inspire and encourage our purpose
We need each other to create something beautiful and powerful
We need each other…
Sending love to all,
Cat
P.S. What else should we add to this list?
