Coworking Out Loud 017 - Tara Everett of Canoe Coworking on Launching an Indigenous Coworking Space

Tara Everett is passionately pursuing her vision to open Canoe Coworking, an indigenous coworking space in Manitoba, a Canadian prairie province.

Tara’s plan for Canoe is to create a space that honors indigenous cultural roots and traditions while supporting local entrepreneurs, independent professionals and small businesses.

Talking with Tara is always a reminder for me that what we’re doing with the coworking movement is not new—it’s a return to community.

One way to support Tara’s work is to contribute to the Canoe Coworking crowdfunding campaign.

Note on the podcast: I use Ringr (affiliate link) to record my calls. It’s a super-slick way to get a high-quality recording on both sides.
